Chiropractic Adjustment

The chiropractic adjustment is a manual procedure that is used to adjust or manipulate joints in the body.  This adjustment helps to restore or enhance joint function.  It can help to resolve inflammation, reduce pain, and/or increase range of motion.  Techniques used may include diversified, activator, drop table, or blocking.

Soft Tissue Therapy

Depending on the particular condition for each patient, therapy may be provided in order to decrease tension in the muscles.  This may be done by hand, an instrument, or with assistance from the patient.

Kinesiology Tape

At times tape may be used in order to facilitate healing or to assist with postural deficiencies.  Taping can assist with support, as well as rehabilitation by targeting receptors within the somatosensory system.  Many athletes benefit from proper application of kinesiology taping.

Rehabilitation Exercises

A very important part of the healing process includes at-home exercises.  It is very important for patients to take an active role in their health.  Each patient will receive simple exercises that will compliment the treatments delivered in order to get better faster.

Golf Physical Assessment Screening

This screening can quickly evaluate a player’s physical readiness.  The results of that assessment are correlated to the player’s swing characteristics and can determine underlying mechanical issues that may lead to pain or dysfunction.

 

Pneumatic Compression Recovery Therapy

Compression boots help to increase circulation in the legs in order to have a quicker recovery after sporting events or workouts.  They help to decrease inflammation and remove waste products that could lead to muscle soreness.
